My daughter is getting married next spring & I am trying to find a classy/elegant table decoration idea that is not going to bankrupt me - I figured i should ask those of you who are pros & have done this before:)
Thanks for your thoughts on this!!
And side note here - sorry nothing new on the altered book front - I always have such good intentions...soon I hope!!

I havent had to do that yet, lol, but I saw a magazine, "real simple - weddings" and they had some very pretty, elegant ideas. Are you familiar with the Real Simple magazine? It's about making day-to-day life streamlined and elegant and whatever the opposite of elaborate is (sorry couldn't think of a better synonym, lol).
Congratulations Denise, I made several things for my daughter's wedding: Save the Date Cards, Brunch Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Table Numbers, Seating Chart, Ceremony Program,Favor Boxes, and Menus. Oh and a cute dupioni silk clutch for her to carry.
I have samples of all if you want to see them.
Char, no I have not heard of that magazine - thanks so much I'll check it out on my shopping spree tomorrow:)
Jody, Thanks you - I would love to see pictures of what you did for your daughter's wedding!! I will need to be doing all the printed stuff as well:)
I'm having fun with the planning, but can use all the help I can get:) This weekend we are scrapbooking an engagement/planning book..Fun Days!!
Congrats! Although I don't have a daughter I did help out with my DIL's planning. Since they had a beach theme I bought over 100 mini frames and decorated the corner edges with seashells, starfish and dried flowers to be used for the seating -wrote out the guest names in calligraphy .. Also decorated a nantucket basket for each guest the same way - the baskets held a candle. Did all this and then realized I had to lug it all down to Mexico... What a dummy.
